OBJECTIVE

We are seeking to recruit a creative and talented intern in TV & Radio Technical Support. This opportunity seeks to develop, expose, and prepare the candidate for a career in the Media Industry.

TV & RADIO TECHNICAL SUPPORT INTERN

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, software updates, and equipment upgrades to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Install, configure, and test broadcasting equipment such as cameras, microphones, mixers, routers, and servers.

• Conduct tests and quality checks on broadcast signals, audio/video streams, and playback systems to ensure high-quality output.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including equipment manuals, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to broadcast equipment, including audio and video systems, signal processing devices, and transmission equipment.

• Provide on-call support and respond promptly to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or broadcast interruptions.

• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues.

• Provide technical support to end-users, including resolving hardware, software, and network problems.

• Manage and maintain backups, antivirus software, and security protocols.

• Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades and migrations.

• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Familiarity with operating systems, network protocols, and IT infrastructure.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Knowledge of TV and radio broadcasting equipment and procedures.
